GAME AND WILDLIFE FENCES

TNH Fencing supplies and installs all types of game fencing. Traditional style 21 strand fences, Bonnox/Veldspan type mesh fences, and combinations of the two are constructed. Each fence is individually designed to suit the terrain, soil conditions and wildlife of the area.

ELECTRIC FENCES

Electric fences are the ideal solution for containing high value game, large herbivores such as elephant and rhino as well as predators. A good quality electric fence is also a more cost-effective alternative to conventional fencing in a stock farming enterprise. TNH Fencing supplies top-quality imported energisers from Stafix, Pakton, JVA and Gallagher along with a selection of locally manufactured units. Stafix energisers incorporate Cyclic Wave Technology, resulting in a clean, powerful fence pulse and maximum energy moving down the fence. With over fifteen years of experience in the wildlife and agricultural fencing business, TNH Fencing is able to install electric fences that work even in dry areas where earthing is a problem.

BOMAS

Specialised holding bomas and breeding pens are constructed by TNH Fencing for all game types. Rhino and buffalo can be housed in bomas made from wooden poles, while electric fences are effective in containing predators such as lions, tigers, cheetahs and wild dogs. TNH is qualified to design and build the boma best suited to each individual situation.

TRAINING & ADVICE

TNH has extensive experience in animal and wildlife management and the products and animal control systems available. Not only does TNH provide advice on the best system for each situation, but also trains landowners and staff in the correct maintenance and most efficient use of these systems.

FENCING MATERIALS

Steel wire, binding wire, Bonnox, Veldspan, pig and bird mesh, welded mesh, poles, stays, droppers and gates are all available from TNH.

HERBICIDES

To maximize the efficiency of electric fences and the longevity of all fences, fences need to be kept clear of vegetation as part of their essential maintenance. TNH supplies the herbicides for this, and also sprays fences to keep them working at their most efficient level.

SOLAR SYSTEMS

Mono and polycrystalline cell solar panels ranging from 10 Watts to 140 Watts are highly efficient at converting solar power to electricity. Combined with the correct regulator and deep-cycle battery set-up, these panels are able to provide a source of electrical power in areas where mains electricity is not available. These solar systems make electric fencing a viable option even in the most remote areas.

STAFIX ELECTRIC FENCING PRODUCTS

Boundaries, roads, paddocks, boreholes, water-points, reservoirs, and any other assets or infrastructure are mapped to facilitate management of farms and reserves. Maps are an essential management tool and are customized to suit each client’s specific needs. All maps are created using the latest G.I.S. technology.

STRIP GRAZING PRODUCTS

TNH Fencing supplies a range of temporary fencing and strip-grazing products such as poliwire, tape, reels and gate kits.
